Four suspects held in murder case; technical evidence cracks the investigation

KOTHAGUDEM

A murder investigation in Bhadradri Kothagudem district took a decisive turn with the arrest of four suspects in the killing of Medi Akhil. Police said the accused were traced with the help of technical evidence and arrested near the Kothagudem bus stand. Investigators seized mobile phones and items allegedly connected to the crime. Police suspect an earlier dispute may have played a role, although the precise sequence of events remains part of the investigation. The arrests mark a significant development in the case, but investigators must still establish each suspect’s alleged role and the circumstances leading to the killing. Police said the evidence gathered during the investigation helped them identify the men who had allegedly been absconding.
